WoW Mums Jelena, Kassandy and Birhan (in the photo) ran 5km Race For Life in Battersea Park in the pouring rain yesterday. Jelena ran for her Mum who suffers from cancer. Birhan met two ladies at the bus stop, who were crying because they have just heard the news that their daughter and sister died of cancer at 35 years of age. Birhan ran for her. We also remembered our friend Eddy from Haven Lodge who died two years ago from Throat Cancer.

WoW Kids in Royal Opera House
Three
WoW Kids have been selected by Royal Opera House and have passed the audition for a small but significant role in Gloriana Opera by Richard Jones. This amazing achievement has been possible through WoW Drama classes in York Gardens Library and our splendid Drama teacher Carryl Thomas, who recognizes the talent in our local children and exposes them to the things that they would never have been able to do otherwise.
