According to statistics, Wandsworth is one of the less deprived boroughs in London. It is the 23rd most deprived borough in London and has only the 22nd highest level of child poverty ( out of the 32 boroughs in the capital). However, Wandsworth contains pockets of extreme deprivation causing social polarisation. Two of our members are attending the Child Poverty Conference in Civic Suit today to find out more.
All WoW Mums are invited to attend our Special General Meeting on Monday, 28th June from 1-3pm in KLS, to vote on W.O.W evolving into a charity and registering with Charity Comission to apply for Charity Status.
