WoW Mums are very proud to announce that we have been awarded a two year contract by People’s Health Lottery for our Interegenerational Project to alleviate loneliness and isolation, which affects elderly residents in Wandsworth. Our launch is on Saturday, 15th February from 11am in Haven Lodge where we will celebarte Chinese New year with stir fry, fortune cookies and a fun workshop.

WoW Mums have recognised the need for an Enterprise Club in Battersea, to help people who would like to set up their own small business or an enterprise. We have been working in partnership with Job Centre Plus since 2012 and have set up WoW Enterprise Club in 200 Pennethorne House, SW11 3HP. One of our self employed mothers who established The Old School Club has invited us to her Business Centre on Valentine’s Day from 11am – 1pm in Unit 141, 99-109 Lavender Hill, SW11 5QL. All welcome.
As part of our Interegenrational work with the residents of Haven Lodge, WoW Mums have organised another coffee morning there on 5th February from 11am -1pm.

WoW Mums have been involved in an art workshop with artist Hetain Pattel, who’s work will be exhibited in Pump House Gallery from February 2014. WoW Mums have been invited to the private viewing on 6th February from 6.30pm.
WoW Drama after school class is starting again for the eight term on Wednesday, 22nd January 2014 in York Gardens Library. Our Drama teacher Carryl Thomas will teach our children to perform Annie the Musical for ten weeks with a performance on 2nd April. Please call 07811660580 to register.

WoW Mums have been invited to Grand Connaught Rooms hotel on 18th January 2014 to attend the Business Fair as part of our Enterprise Club work on helping single mothers with self-employment.
