After a tremendous success of our WoW Drama Class, WoW Mums have organised a Drama Camp for our little stars from Monday, 20th to Friday, 31st August 2012 in D.R.C.A Doddington. It will run every day from 9.30am – 4pm with a lunch break in famous Doddington Roof Top Gardens. Please call 07846448848 to reserve your place. First come first served.
After successfully initiating a Secret Garden on Falcon Estate and planting 1000 Daffodils in Fred Wells Gardens, WoW Mums have organised a gardening day in Kambala estate with aim to form a resident’s garden there. If you are a keen gardener or just want to potter around, please join us on Saturday, 11th August at 11am in the garden. The entrance is at 60-76 McDermot Close, Battersea. Mr. Jim Bliss from Royal Horticultural Society will attend as a special guest to give us advice. There will be some light refreshments and face painting as well.
WoW Mums have recognised the need for an Enterprise club in Battersea, to empower people who would like to set up their own small business or an enterprise. We have been working in partnership with Job Centre Plus and have set up a WoW Enterprise Club in Kambala Club Room, 126 Fawcett Close, Battersea. Please attend our launch on Friday, 14th September 2012 from 11am – 1pm.
WoW Mums have organised a special Coffee Morning for the residents on Friday, 13th July from 11am – 1pm in Haven Lodge as part of our Inter-generational project to bridge the gap between the generations. All welcome.
WoW Mum Syeda Islam will be teaching the children about the Asian spices and how to cook with them. Please come to WoW Mums Cooking workshop on Friday, 6th July from 4pm – 6pm in KLS Cafe.
W.O.W Mums have been invited to BBQ and Jazz afternoon in St. Mark’s Church on Sunday, 1st July 2012 at 1pm. This has been organised by Cheer charity.
The booking lines are opening next week for booking the Theatre tickets during Kids Week. The children’s tickets are free with any paying adult.Kids Week offers children aged 16 or under the opportunity to experience the magic of London theatre for free when accompanied by a fullpaying adult.
