International Women’s Day

To celebrate the International Women’s Day, W.O.W Mums are joining the Women of the World  on the Millennium Bridge on Thursday, 8th March from 12- 2pm to take part in the innitiative to ensure women’s rights are central to the UK work in the world. Women worldwide are attending their bridge events in their countries, united to take a stand for PEACE and EQUALITY. Join us!

London Mayor’s Awards

WoW Mum Senia Dedic has been nominated as the London’s top volunteer by the Mayor of London for the prestigious Team   London Award. The Awards Ceremony is on 1st March in the Chamber in the City Hall.

Pancake Day

Join us in Haven Lodge today from 11am – 1pm to make your own pancakes and enjoy them with the residents.This event has been funded by Age UK.

WoW Work Club

Our regular WoW Work Club is on Friday, 24th February 2012 from 11am – 1pm in Kambala Club Room, 126 Fawcett Close, Battersea. Ms Joanna White from Job Centre Plus will answer any questions you might have regarding your job search. Refreshments will be provided.

Free Tickets to See Shrek

W.O.W Mums have been granted the funds by Aiming High project to take our disabled children to the theatre to see Shrek the Musical during half term. If you have a disabled child please call 07811660580 for a free ticket. First come first served.

Concert

WoW Children have been invited to a free concert in Henry Wood Hall on Saturday, 4th February to enjoy a concert performed by Derek Paravicini, who is blind and has severe learning difficulties, and the Alba Wind Quintet. This has been organised by Daytrippers for disabled children as an inspiration and a place to meet new friends.
