WoW Mums are going to celebrate Chinese New Year in Eat Play Love community hub on Battersea Park Road with the proprietor Mrs. Jeanette Wickham, an ardent WoW Mum. Jeanette has brought China Town to Battersea with a spectacular special offer to celebrate this event – Mandarin style.Everyone is invited to try scrumptious, exotic and fun Chinese Steam Boat dish, which is brilliant for sharing and fun to eat, since you choose how and what you wish to put in your tasty soup from a selection of vegetables, seafood and meat.

London Mini Marathon

Ishan Faisal is running the London Mini Marathon on Sunday, 3rd February 2013 in Battersea Park. The race for under 13 year old boys starts at  at 10.30am. Ishan is fundraising for WoW Kids project and would appreciate if you could support him by attending the race or contacting the WoW Mums for a donation.

WoW Taekwondo for Children

WoW Taekwondo Course for Children starts on Saturday, 19th January 2013 for 10 weeks until 23rd March 2013. Juniors start at 10am – 11am and Seniors from 11am – 12 in KLS, 108 Battersea High Street, SW11 3HP.

W.O.W Enterprise Club  is on Friday 11th November 2013  at 11am  in Pennethorne house. The guest speaker on enterpreneurship and volunteering will be Mr. Ben Richardson from Groundworks Wandsworth.

WoW New Years Party

WoW Mums volunteers have organised a New Years celebration for residents of Haven Lodge on Friday, 4th January 2013 at 11.30am. All other residents from our community are welcome as well.This event is funded by Age UK.

Rotary Christmas Day Lunch

WoW Mum Senia Dedic helped at the Battersea Rotary Club’s Christmas Lunch for the elderly who live in Wandsworth. 500 elderly attended the Christmas lunch and enjoyed playing bingo and dancing. It is amazing to see 200 volunteers come on 25th December to  help serve the lunch and care for the elderly in our borough. This is truly remarkable!
