WoW Mums have become members of Healthwatch Wandsworth, which is the central Government initiative to involve residents and have they say on how people want their health service delivered. Healthwatch Wandsworth will make sure that the local voices will be able to influence the delivery and design of local health services for people who use them.

Baby Shower
Our Drama Teacher Dee Fyfe is leaving to have a baby. WoW Mums have organised a baby shower for her on Wednesday 27th March at 5pm in York Gardens Library.
WoW Fitness In The Park
WoW Fitness Instructors will offer free training on the Falcon (Banana) park fitness machines every Thursday morning from 9am – 11am from 18th April 2013.
WoW Daffodils
WoW Mums planted 1000 Daffodils in FredWells Gardens in 2009 and they are finally out this spring.
Free IT Class For Elderly
WoW Mums Sandra Munoz Alvarez is teaching the older people at Haven Lodge how to use the modern technology to improve the communications with their grand children and families. The elderly have learnt how to email, Skype and how to use the internet to search for the cheapest shopping trolly and for their favorite old time songs. The free IT classes are every Friday (term time) from 10am – 11am in Haven Lodge IT suite.
WoW Donation to York Gardens Library
WoW Mums have continued to support the York Gardens Library by fundraising through organising Drama and Taekwondo classes for children. We have raised £3200 so far with grants from Thomas’s Schools Foundation. WoW Mums gave the big cheque to the library on 16th March 2013. It is great that the York Garden’s Library group is going to support FREE GCSEs tutoring for local children in English and Maths with these donations.
St. Patrick’s Day

The day kicks off with a spectacular parade of colourful marching bands, floats, costumed characters and street theatre groups.
The parade leaves Piccadilly at noon and follows a route along; lower Regents Street, Pall Mall and finishes in Trafalgar Square.
