WoW Coffee Morning in Haven Lodge

WoW Mums have organised a special Coffee Morning for the residents on Friday, 13th July from 11am – 1pm in Haven Lodge as part of our Inter-generational project to bridge the gap between the generations. All welcome.

Asian Spices

WoW Mum Syeda Islam will be teaching the children about the Asian spices and how to  cook with them. Please come to WoW Mums Cooking  workshop on Friday, 6th July from 4pm – 6pm in KLS Cafe.

BBQ and Jazz

W.O.W Mums have been invited to BBQ and Jazz afternoon in St. Mark’s Church on Sunday, 1st July 2012 at 1pm. This has been organised by Cheer charity.

Kids Week

The booking lines are opening next week  for booking the Theatre tickets during Kids Week. The children’s tickets are free with any paying adult.Kids Week offers children aged 16 or under the opportunity to experience the magic of London theatre for free when accompanied by a fullpaying adult. WoW Drama Gala

The children of WoW Drama class would like to invite you to their gala performance of ‘ Too Cool For School’ on Wednesday, 27th June 2012 from 6pm – 7pm in York Gardens Library.                                                                                                                                            The Drama classes have been organised and fascilitated by WoW Mums and funded by generous  Thomas’s Schools Foundation. This afterschool class has been hugely successfull in the promotion of physical and mental well-being of the participants including discipline, literacy and memory skills, confidence and teambuilding.  We hope you can attend.

Jane Ellison MP

Mrs. Jane Ellison MP will attend WoW Mums Parent Forum on Monday, 16th July 2012 from  1-3pm in KLS, to discuss the childcare issues.

Trip to Devon

As part of our Urban Children project, WoW Mums are taking  children to East Shallowford Farm in Devon from 20th – 22nd July 2012 for an educational and rehabilitating trip to give urban children an experience of country life and a chance to try organic home-grown food from the farm. WoW Mums are extremely happy to announce that we have received a grant from WBC Aiming High Project for disabled children to see Matilda the Musical on 26th July 2012. WoW at Queen’s Diamond Jubilee River Pageant

WoW Mums have been invited to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee River Pageant on Sunday, 3rd June. We are looking forward to this once ina lifetime spectacular event, with special family traditional summer fair in Battersea Park.
