WoW Enterprise Club has been funded by Wandsworth Adult Learning to deliver three workshops to improve Interviewing skills for people who are looking for work. This skill is very usefull if you are having an interview with your bank manager when setting up your enterprise bank account as well.

All welcome to 200 Pennethorne House on Friday, 11th April from 11am – 1pm.

WoW Mums have organised a Karate Championship for our children to test their self defense skills, which they have been acquiering for the last three years, through WoW Mums self defense classes. The Karate Championship is on Saturday, 29th March from 6pm – 8pm in KLS Gym. Please contact 07703723236 to register for this challenge.

WoW Mums have organised an Art Class for three generation on Saturday, 29th March from 1pm – 4pm in sheltered housing accommodation Haven Lodge in Battersea to continue with our inter-generational project. The art-work produced by children, Mums and elderly residents  willl be exhibited at Wandsworth Council’s Art festival in May 2014.

WoW Mums are very proud to announce that we have been awarded a two year contract by People’s Health Lottery for our Interegenerational Project  to alleviate loneliness and isolation, which affects elderly residents in Wandsworth. Our launch is on Saturday, 15th February from 11am in Haven Lodge where we will celebarte Chinese New year with stir fry, fortune cookies and a fun  workshop.

WoW Mums have recognised the need for an Enterprise Club in Battersea, to help people who would like to set up their own small business or an enterprise.  We have been working in partnership with Job Centre Plus since 2012 and have set up WoW Enterprise Club in 200 Pennethorne House, SW11 3HP. One of our self employed mothers who established The Old School Club has invited us to her Business Centre on Valentine’s Day from 11am – 1pm in Unit 141, 99-109 Lavender Hill, SW11 5QL. All welcome.

As part of our Interegenrational work with the residents of Haven Lodge, WoW Mums have organised another coffee morning there on 5th February from 11am -1pm.

WoW Mums have been involved in an art workshop with artist Hetain Pattel, who’s work will be exhibited in Pump House Gallery from February 2014. WoW Mums have been invited to the private viewing on 6th February from 6.30pm.
