WoW Kids in Houses of Parliament

WoW teenage kids were invited by Jane Ellison MP to a Houses of Parliament tour to learn about the history of Westminster pphoto-8alace and evolution of British government.This 90 minutes tour included visiting the Queen’s Robing chamber, Royal Gallery, Prince’s Chamber, Lords Chamber, Central Lobby, Member’s Lobby, Commons Chamber, Lord’s Chamber and St. Stephen’s Hall.

WoW Valentine’s Workshop

srceAs part of our WoW  Arts and Crafts class, we will be making Valentines Cards on Saturday, 14th February 2015 from 11am in KLS, 108 Battersea High Street.

WoW Parent Forum

WoW Mums will have a Parent forum on Thursday, 29th January in York Gardens Library from 5pm – 6pm. Larisa Villar Hauser will attend to talk to us about her new children’s book Uma & Imp and discuss the possibility of organising the reading sessions with the children and maybe a writing competition. All welcome.

WoW Mums cooking at Jamie Oliver’s

WoW Mums and Falcon Estate RA have sponsored the Christ Church School children to attend the Jamie Oliver’s Cookery school and learn how to cook with the fruits and vegetables, which they have grown in their Secret Garden. The children made Ravioli from scratch and filled them with the spinach grown in their school garden. Thank you to KLS for letting us use their community van and thank you to Rex Wickham from Media 2020 for driving us there.
