WoW at Rotary Christmas Day

Six phylantropic WoW families helped serve lunch at the Rotary Christmas Day party for all elderly from Wandsworth, who would otherwise be alone on Christmas.

Christmas letters

WoW Mums received a lovely letter from Kindly volunteer written for a lonely elderly person who is going to be alone on Christmas. It is addressed to an amazing human being. Such a beautiful thought to reach and engage the people who don’t know each other.

 

Handmade Christmas Cards

Young people from Thames Christian School delivered  handmade cards to elderly in John Kirk House and in Haven Lodge.

WoW Challenge

WoW Mums have been approached by Kindly Charity to set a challenge to change the world. We asked 50 youths to write letters to 50 lonely elderly people from Battersea, which WoW will deliver for security reasons.

WoW in Roehampton

WoW Mums visited Manresa Club room in Alton estate, Roehampton to join elderly in Sporting Memories exercise workshop and Christmas party.We will organise similar exercises in lodges in Battersea.

WoW and Eternal Seas Workshop

WoW Mums are grateful to Lorraine Rees for an illustration workshop for WoW Kids with a chance for their artwork to appear in adventurous Eternal Seas sequal. 

WoW at WBC Health Event

WoW Mums were invited to Wandsworth Health and Care Design event. Results of this consultation will be included in WBC Health strategy plan.
