WoW in Wimbledon

WoW Mums were invited together with 14 local organisations to afternoon tea at the Centre Court Gallery by Wimbledon Foundation. It was nice to see the Tennis Meseum as well.

WoW Dad winner

WoW Dad Andrew Beech was awarded a prestigious UK coaching award as the Best Community Coach, because he teaches WoW  karate  and innitiated setting up of WoW Karate Championship, on top of many other community physical activities in Battersea. Congratulations.

WoW Mums in Haven Lodge

We celebrated Caroline’s 60th birthday in Haven Lodge with students from Thames Christian school who sang, played with the balloon and painted nails for the elderly ladies.

Students from Thames Christian school visited Haven Lodge today and brought New Year card for residents.

WoW Mums at the Wandsworth Local Plan Workshop in BAC

WoW Mums were invited by Wandsworth Council to take part in Wandsworth Local Plan workshop, dealing with climate change, environmental issue, tall buildings and   future structure of town centres. Cllr Paul Ellis, Cabinet Minister for  Transport attended and said that the points raised today will be looked at and will potentially be implemented in Wandsworth Core Strategy for local planning. WoW Mums stressed the importance of using renewable energy in new buildings to reduce high  air   pollution and to provide free  space for entrepreneurs, things that we have been campaigning for since 2015.
