Toy Story 3
Watch Toy Story 3 for free on Saturday, 23rd October from 12-2pm in Leonard Cheshire Centre with free popcorn and marsh mallows. Courtesy of Battersea Rotary Club. Free lunch to follow.
Thames Sewer
Each year 39 million tonnes of untreated sewage flushes into the River Thames, because the old Victorian sewers can no longer cope with population expansion. The new proposed Thames Sewage Tunnel should solve the problem. Public consultation on this project and an exhibition is in Battersea Art Centre, Lavender Hill SW11 5TN between 7-9 October from 10.30am – 8pm, 5pm on Saturday.
Scorched Workshop
W.O.W Mums had the pleasure of seeing ‘Schorched’ by Wajdi Mouawad in Old Vic Tunnela Theatre. On Monday, 27th September Simona Hughes from ‘Dialogue’ will join us at KLS for a theatre workshop on this thought provoking play. 1-3pm. Read more in WoW September 2010 newsletter.
Eid Celebration
One of our Mums has invited W.O.W members to an Eid Feast on Saturday, 25th September from 12-2pm in KLS cafe to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr.
W.O.W. Films
All films of WoW Mum’s events so far will be able for viewing on Thursday, 23rd September from 11am – 1pm. They were all filmed and edited by Sandra Munoz Alvarez.
