W.O.W Mums have been invited to London Women’s Design project culmination event on 4th August in City Hall to celebrate the success of this project and to explore the opportunities for the future, including an opportunity for women involved to join the London Access Forum, continuing to enable women’s voices to be heard in planning for the City.
Please join us on Monday, 18th July 2011 in Fredwells Gardens for a summer picnic with WoW Mums and children from 1pm – 3pm.
W.o.W Mums are taking part in organising Christ Church School’s Carnival, which is on Friday, 8th July from 1.30pm -4pm in the school playground and Falcon Estate. All welcome. Entrance free.
Wandsworth Council is planning to start charging children £2.50 to play in Adventure Playground from Saturday, 2nd July 2011. We have organised a peaceful protest by offering free face painting to children who cannot pay to play. The children will interview other children, film the event and produce a DVD from 11am. Bring a picnic and your children.
We are jubilant that we have to cancel this event, because the Council decided not to charge entrance fee from July 2011.

ree W.O.W Mums and our three youths have been nominated to carry the Olympic torch through London in July 2012 to start the London Olympic Games next year. The decisions will be made from August 2011 by the London Olympic Torch Relay team.
