The green bus, which started work right after New Year, is run by Wandsworth (with funding from the Transformation Fund) and will be visiting 8 locations in the borough offering taster sessions for adult learners. The bus is fully equipped with computer workstations so many of the courses are computer based, like digital photography and internet skills, but will also have sessions on more diverse topics like interior design and Indian head massage! The purpose is to get out to people who might not access the learning opportunities that currently exist and the goal is to have had 2,000 on board and learning by the end of March. The bus will visit W.O.W Mums on Friday, 22nd January 2010, from 12 noon in KLS.

Christmas Lunch
It was only fitting to have our Christmas lunch in Makan Makan Restaurant, 69 Richmond Road TW1, with one of our first W.O.W Mums, who is now a proprietor of a lovely Malaysian restaurant in Richmond. Makan Makan means Eat Eat in Maly and that was all we did. Scrumptious!
