Fostering in Wandsworth

Sunday, 23rd May 2010 we are joining the campaig to raise awareness of lack of foster parents in Wandsworth. The workshop for boys and girls will be organised by Chelsea FC in Battersea Park Arena, near tennis courts from 2-4.30pm.

Battersea Summer Scheme

Ms. Vanessa Wride from Battersea Summer Scheme will join our Parent Forum on Monday, 17th May 2010, 1-3pm in KLS to discuss stimulating and enjoyable activities for families during the school holidays.

Mr. Andrew Smith, new Operations Manager of VSD at Wandsworth Voluntary Sector Development Agency, will attend our Coffee morning on Friday, 14th May from 11-1pm to to find out about the range of development needs local organisations like ours may have. Refreshments will be provided.

New Secondary School

Meet Michael Gove, Shadow Secretary of State of Education on Wednesday 28th April 2010 at 4pm in front of Bolingbroke Hospital, Wakehurst Road,  to continue NSC’s campaign for a new secondary school in Battersea and keep Bolingbroke as a public asset in public hands – not sold for private development. www.thensc.net

The Neighbourhood School Campaign
