Our W.O.W Halloween Party is on Sunday, 31st October 2010 from 5-7pm in KLS cafe. We have prizes for the best Pumpkin Soup Recipe and prizes for best Adult’s and Kid’s scary outfits. We will go Trick or Treating in Battersea after dark.

The independent School Show returns to Battersea on 29th and 30th October 2010 with advice on how to choose the best school for your child and other workshops like : state school vs private, expert tips on preparing your child on 11+ entrance exams, advantages of specialist schools and advantages of international education. Join our parent forum on Monday, 4th October to get free tickets (worth £10) for this event.

Try your Ping Pong skills in Battersea Park Adventure Playground during this half term on Saturday, 30th October 2010 from 2-6pm.

We have started our Come Dine With Me in Battersea. The first one was a scrumptious  Malaysian dinner. The next one is a Mexican feast.

Each year 39 million tonnes of untreated sewage flushes into the River Thames, because the old Victorian sewers can no longer cope with population expansion. The new proposed Thames Sewage Tunnel should solve the problem. Public consultation on this project and an exhibition is in Battersea Art Centre, Lavender Hill SW11 5TN between  7-9 October from 10.30am – 8pm, 5pm on Saturday.
