Our Christmas Party will be on Wednesday, 8th December from 4.30 – 7pm in Leonard Cheshire Centre, Battersea. We’ll make Christingles and sing Caroles, before Mrs. Santa gives the presents out to children. Courtesy of Battersea Rotary Club.
As a small community group intersted in becoming a social enterprise, we have been invited to Local Authority Connecting Conference in Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall on Wednesday, 24th November, where 100 key representatives from local authority and social enterprises from all over London will attend together with the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea.
Please join our W.O.W. Parent Forum on Monday, 22nd November 1-3pm or our W.O.W Coffee Morning on Friday, 26th November 11am – 1pm to sign our petition against proposed closure of our York Gardens community library.

WoW Mums had the pleasure of attending the Mayor’s Annual Civic Dinner and the presentation of Civic Awards in Wandsworth Town Hall last night.
W.O.W. Mums have joined the Wandsworth Living Streets with aim to strengthen our campaign against dog mess in the streets and to give parks back to our children. Read more in October 2010 newsletter .

Join us in Haven Lodge, Kambala Estate, Battersea on Monday, 25th October from 11-1pm. The children will be cooking with the residents in the Lodge kitchen.
Our W.O.W Halloween Party is on Sunday, 31st October 2010 from 5-7pm in KLS cafe. We have prizes for the best Pumpkin Soup Recipe and prizes for best Adult’s and Kid’s scary outfits. We will go Trick or Treating in Battersea after dark.
