WoW Work Club is on Friday, 25th May from 11am – 1pm in Kambala Club Room, 126 Fawcett Close, Battersea. Cllr Jane Ellison MP is visiting our work club on this day to answer any questions you might have related to your job search.

Mr. Paul Hocker from London Play  is attending WoW Mums Parent Forum on Monday, 21st June from 1pm – 3pm to discuss playgrounds in London. Please join us. Refreshments will be provided.

One of our WoW Mums, Jeanette Wickham, has opened her cafe Eat Play Love on Battersea Park Road and we had a launch lunch there today. Special home made cakes and fresh sandwishes and salads are on offer as well as home made chutneys, curds and jams from Sommerset.

W.O.W Mums Hadas and Sandra will be facepainting at Battersea Square Summer Fair on Saturday, 12th May. Please support us by visiting Battersea Summer Scheme’s table from 10am – 5pm and help us fundraise for KLS.

WoW Mums are taking part in Big Local Trust project and are meeting Helen Garforth on Wednesday 9th May from 1pm – 3pm in KLS. Everyone welcome to express their ideas on how to improve life in Battersea with Big Lottery funding.

WoW Mums have been invited to Femmes by the Thames Comedy Show on 17th May 2012 at 8pm on Battersea Barge. Female performance showcase featuring award winning stand up Shazia Mirza, quirky songs and poems from Liz Bentley plus character comedy from Cariad Lloyd, Susan Harrison and Holly Burn, music from Mary Leay. Hosted by Rosie Wilby.
£5 on the door, 7.30pm doors, performances from 8pm. Tickets can be reserved by phoning the venue.
