Women of Wandsworth, WoWMums, are a group of mothers from Battersea who are trying to educate and entertain their children by broadening their perspectives on life in multicultural and international spirit and yet teach them about importance of their community as well.
We're an all inclusive group that organises a weekly forum to discuss issues that matter to us, campaigns for a better life for us and our children, and arranges activities for mutual benefit. WoWMums helped me feel part of the community. I really enjoy the trips and my children loved the pancake making day.
This is exactly what our children need because there are lots of activities and they are all for free.
I have no family around me so this is like an alternative family. It’s very important. It’s makes me feel so good to help at WOW.
