Self-sustained School in Battersea

Christ Church School would like to use Fownes Street allotments, for school’s gardening project as part of Government’s plan for schools to become self-sustainable and to become more involved with the community. The school could get funding for this project of up to £8000 as part of extended schools cluster, which they would use to clear the ground, secure the fences and plant vegetables and fruits. W.O.W Mums got the school and the Falcon Road Residents’ Association in touch. The residents unanimously agreed to give the school their support for this project.
